Position Summary

The purpose of this role is to ensure the range of new and existing client projects are managed effectively and efficiently. To ensure the work is strategically focused, delivered on time and on budget while championing the quality and delivery of all client projects. Provide oversight and day-to-day relationship for development and management of client programs. Tasks include but are not limited to: relationship management, program management, internal and external client communications, overall servicing and coordination.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results

To provide superior service to the retail accounts portfolio in coordination with the Account Director:



  • Promotion and Development of a strong solid business relationship with our clients.
  • Focusing on our customer's business objectives and exceeding their expectations.
  • Ensuring a thorough understanding of the estimating and billing procedures at SGS.
  • Assisting in the completion of weekly invoicing on a consistent basis and monthly financial summaries / forecasts together with the Account Director.
  • Continually working to improve internal processes, communications and the working relationship between the assigned account team and all other departments at SGS.
  • Monitoring progress, pre-empting any problems and making recommendations in regard to modifications required through a solution focused approach.
  • Striving to strengthen and extend the client relationship through the identification of business growth opportunities by demonstration of a full application of the marketing mix, retail techniques and legalities.


  • Manage the day-to-day execution of the client programs
  • Conduct research, surveys, data collection and reporting as needed to support the client
  • Provides business intelligence, trends and opportunities, competitive analysis, ongoing metrics
  • Research and propose new development ideas, strategies and processes for greater efficiency including GPN
  • Prepare reports and QBR's for the client with the SAD and VP Sales, Retail Channel.
  • Guide and direct internal team on client program requirements and processes
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

Internal & External Communications

This person will have frequent contact with:



  • Client, to effectively and efficiently manage the assigned account.
  • Creative Department, Planning, Digital and Experiential to ensure a strong working relationship with the named department.
  • Suppliers, to maintain a good working relationship with third party suppliers.
  • Finance, to ensure all SGS's financial processes and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

This position requires the following knowledge and skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales based capacity.
  • Experience in pre-press, packaging or other related industry preferred.

Education
Bachelors (required)
Experience
Experience in pre-press, packaging or other related industry (preferred)
