Job Summary

Looking for an opportunity to work for one of the world's largest food service companies and influence a Fortune 5 tech company's food program? This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, strategy-driven environment with one of Compass Groups' top global clients!

This position will lead the creation and implementation of customer experience strategies for a Fortune 5 tech company's food and beverage program. This role will work with Compass One's cross-functional team to implement and report on various hospitality initiatives that drive customer engagement, mobile adoption, and speed of service across various ordering journeys. This role will report to the Director of Strategy and Analytics.

As part of the E15 analytics team supporting Compass One's Central Leadership, the ideal candidate will lead continuous improvement of the customer experience in the food program. This person will partner with operators across North America to deliver actionable insights to enhance customer engagement and drive the success of our mobile and in-person ordering experience. In this role, you will collaborate with operations, marketing, finance, and project management teams. This work will play a key role in advancing data-driven decision-making. By streamlining processes and enabling better understanding of customer behaviors, you will empower operators to focus on providing exceptional service while maximizing the impact of our digital platforms. This role is hybrid and expected to be located in either Seattle, WA, Washington DC, Nashville, Los Angeles, Boston, or NYC.

Responsibilities
* Be obsessed with the customer experience in the food and beverage program. Review data and identify ways to simplify the digital customer journey, increase speed of service, drive participation rates.
* Create and implement product placement and promotion strategies optimized for digital platforms, including cafes and catering services.
* Leverage available artificial intelligence, consumer insights, and emerging technology tools to drive guest experience and profitability.
* Communicate key guest insights to executive stakeholders and opportunities action on them.
* Collaborate with marketing and culinary leadership to strategize, plan, and implement new initiatives to drive participation and revenue.
* Produce recurring performance reports (heat maps, dashboards, slide decks, status updates, etc.) to evaluate the success of engagement strategies and identify areas for continuous improvement.
* Establish specific knowledge about the business including Point of Sale data, financial performance, and operational models.
* Analyze and advance key strategic initiatives in areas of sustainability, customer sentiment, social and environmental engagement.
* Develop strategies for new data and analytics initiatives to expand the capabilities of the mobile ordering platform.
* Manage ad-hoc analytics projects as needed or required.

Qualifications:

* 3 to 6 years of experience in quantitative analysis, consulting, or client-facing roles, with a strong background in interacting with internal leadership.
* Proven self-starter with a keen interest in learning the business and driving actionable insights.
* Proficiency in UI/UX design for consumer applications using tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
* Bachelor's or master's degree in business analytics, finance, statistics, economics, or a related field.
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work effectively within a small, driven team, managing project workloads and deliverables.
* Strong experience with SQL, R, Python, PowerBI, and/or Tableau for data analysis.
* Expertise in using data visualization tools and statistical software to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
* Experience in reviewing and analyzing survey data.
* Awareness or experience in food service operations is a plus.
