Job Description: Phlebotomist Needed for Research Project

Location: Washington, D.C.

Details:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate phlebotomist to assist with a Type 2 Diabetes research project in Washington, D.C. This role will require the administration of IVs and the collection of blood samples from the IV throughout the research sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer IVs for study participants.
• Perform blood draws from the IV for testing throughout the day.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent bedside care.
• Work with 4 to 6 patients per session.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Duration: 4 days in January.
• Hours: 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
• Rate: $32.00 per hour.
• Parking is provided and paid for.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in administering IVs and performing blood draws.
• Excellent bedside manner and patient care skills.
• Availability for the specified dates and times.
