Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Starting Wage: $23.86 + 0.80 shift differential for 2^nd shift Shift: 1^st shift, 6am-2pm; 2^nd shift, 2pm-10pm Location: 207 Laurel Hill Road, Verona VA What you will do: Load and unload trailers Receive materials and verify shipment accuracy and quality and record in EPR/WMS systems Put away, monitor, and replenish material as needed Ensure accuracy in all documentation and notify supervision of any shortages or discrepancies Move palletized and unpalletized material Operate various powered trucks, tuggers, lifts, straddle cranes to move material in and out of trucks, in the warehouse, yard, or plant Operate various overhead cranes Load, protect, and secure goods for shipment Perform regular running inventory (cycle count) Assemble or select wooden or cardboard containers for shipments Kitting of material for shipment, storage, or production Maintain daily inspection and check list of powered equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment Follow all safety rules and instruction Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and understand written English Familiar with bills of material, work orders, pick lists, sales orders, bills of lading, packing slips Prior warehouse experience Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions Company provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverage Short term disability and optional employee paid voluntary long term disability 40 hours paid time off for new employees, prorated based on start date 88 hours company paid holidays Tuition reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service Daikin Applied Americas Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from minorities, woman, the disabled, protected veterans, and other qualified applicants.
