Job Description What you will do Diagnose problems, repairs, adjusts and maintains production equipment and machinery to ensure reliability and efficient day-to-day operations. Tests and inspects parts regularly, and identifies issues. Takes preventive measures to avoid unexpected downtime. How you will do it Sets up, troubleshoot, and maintain test systems, test system procedures and databases according to general instructions and agency test requirements. Analyzes test data and modifies parameters, sequence and steps in test procedures for units tested to meet quality standards. Provides technical support on automated equipment such as CNC and robot systems. Instructs production personnel in the proper and safe operation of test systems. Assists line personnel with unit troubleshooting. Sets up and maintains computer hardware for test and automated systems. Follows established safety procedures and maintains a clean work area. Other duties as assigned. What we look for Bachelor's degree and one year experience, or Associate degree and six years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of two years technical training in electronics (degree or diploma) or equivalent experience and training. Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including e-mail, Microsoft Office software, and SQL. Knowledge in computer databases and networking a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and decision making ability. Effective and professional communication and organization skills. Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in such areas as wiring, instrumentation, electromechanical and PLC troubleshooting. Must be self-motivated and able to work on multiple tasks. Preferred HVAC experience
