SUMMARY The Neurodiagnostic Technologist III provides continuous electroencephalograms (EEG) monitoring. This position performs and analyzes continuous ICU EEG monitoring and long term video EEG monitoring as part of the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions. The position performs complex EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, electromyography (EMGs), and/or Transcranial Doppler (TCDs), Carotid Ultrasound on all-aged patients. QUALIFICATIONS Associates Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technology from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited END program required. Three (3) years clinical neurodiagnostic experience required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association. Registration by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) in EEG (R. EEG T), EP (R. EP. T) or American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) in EMG, or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in TCD at the time of hire is required. Hospital experience is preferred.
