Mercy South Surgical/Neuro Intensive Care Unit Opportunities Graduate and Experienced nurses encouraged to apply here! $10,000 Sign On Bonus for RNs! $2,500 Sign On Bonus for GNs! No Contracts Surgical/Neuro ICU is a sixteen-bed unit. Nurse to patient ratio is 2:1 Our team includes 24/7 intensivist coverage, virtual ICU, and Physician Assistants. Our leadership includes a nurse manager, clinical nurse supervisor and charge RNs. The SICU is home to the hospital's rapid response team that responds to calls throughout the hospital and stroke arrivals to the ED. Mercy South is a trauma level two center and a Joint Commission Comprehensive Center for stroke care. Types of patients cared for include:
