Come Join Mercy Hospital Southeast! RN - GI LAB Full Time (40 hours/wk) Days, 7am-4:30pm Must live within 30 miles of the Hospital due to Call Where Nurses Come to Grow! We're a Little Different Our mission is clear. We bring to life a healing ministry through our compassionate care and exceptional service. Overview: The GI Lab at Mercy Southeast is open Monday-Friday with procedures starting at 8AM. Patients arrive 1 hour before their scheduled procedure time to ensure ample time is given to get patients ready. Nurses are trained in pre-op (admissions), intra-op (procedure room - trained on circulating and tech), and post-op (recovery). Orientation usually includes 2 weeks for each area, more time is allowed if needed. Our nurses do take call, it's usually 2 call shifts per week. Weekend call is rotated among the nursing staff. We have 3 GI Gastroenterologist and 2 Pulmonologist. Shadow opportunities available to observe workflow. Qualifications:
