PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Reporting to the CEO, this executive position is responsible for the infrastructure that supports and implements loan policies, products, and strategies. The Chief Lending Officer will propose, initiate, and oversee the accomplishments of all loan programs provided by the organization. Ensures compliance of all organizational policies and regulatory requirements and administers them to minimize risk to the organization.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.
OTHER SKILLS Has a working knowledge of loan participation, purchase agreements, and secondary market investment programs. Proficiency in the understanding of financial principles and ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Strong networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally. Skilled in leading and managing change, including the ability to guide teams through transitions and overcome resistance. High emotional intelligence, including empathy, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills.
