The MGH Institute of Health Professions is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty position in the School of Nursing. The role entails comprehensive responsibilities, including the design, management, teaching, and evaluation of both didactic and clinical nursing courses. Specific areas of focus include medical-surgical and psychiatric mental health nursing. In addition to course responsibilities, the candidate will provide general academic advising, engage in professional and service activities, and contribute to scholarship appropriate to the level of appointment. This position offers an opportunity to influence the next generation of nursing professionals while collaborating with a team dedicated to academic excellence and innovation in healthcare education.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Institute-specific faculty responsibilities and criteria for rank are outlined in the MGH Institute Faculty Handbook.Time spent in the areas below are negotiated between the Academic Unit Leader and individual faculty members, but are generally considered to be: Teaching: 50%
Service: 30%
Scholarship: 20%.
