Social Worker (LCSW/ LICSW) - Integrated Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Training Program
*The Massachusetts General Hospital seeks a full-time, licensed social worker (LCSW or LICSW) for a one-year training program in Addiction Medicine.
*The Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (ISTP) is a new training fellowship that aims to train nurse practitioners, psychologists, and social workers in team-based addiction treatment, especially for under-served and diverse communities.
*The Social Worker Fellow will work with other ISTP trainees to provide inter-disciplinary care for people with substance use disorders in a community-based health center setting. The training program will provide clinical experience in a variety of placements including an inpatient addiction consult service, a low-threshold walk-in clinic, and outpatient dual-diagnosis programs for adolescents and adults. Training and mentorship will be provided by experienced addiction practitioners who are faculty of this program.
*Hybrid schedule available (remote/virtual and onsite)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required.

  • Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with relevant clinical experience required.
