The Development Officer, Annual Leadership Gifts is a key member of a dynamic team focused on supporting Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Health Foundation's fundraising initiatives in a fast-paced environment. An energetic team player with a flexible work style; s/he will have a sincere interest in philanthropy and advancing the mission of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Health Foundation. This position reports to the VP, Philanthropy/Director of Development.
The Development Officer will manage the Annual Giving programs with an annual revenue goal of $400,000. Programs include Leadership Annual Giving, Employee Campaign Committee, direct mail and email solicitations. S/he manages stewardship activities in support of Foundation donors/prospects, including custom acknowledgements, proposal concepts, appeals, and planning, prepping for and participating in donor meetings and stewardship events with Foundation gift officers, Hospital leadership, and donors/prospects. S/he manages donor activities, including volunteer leadership groups in a forward moving environment. This includes building relationships with Leadership Annual donors of $1,000+. The Officer will collaborate with other members of the department as needed; and will work with the rest of the fundraising staff in growing fundraising revenues aligned with the Hospital's and Foundation's Strategic Long-Range Plan.
