This respiratory services coordinator will provide support for the sleep clinic with non-invasive ventilation patients, PAP data management, endoscopy program support, and DME/PAP utilization support for patients.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate clinical and data issues with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) vendors. Develop and implement remote data monitoring program for PAP users Assist in administrative and clinical coordination for drug induced sleep endoscopy program (DISE). Coordinate, deliver, setup, download and instruct patients on use of testing equipment, including:
Other responsibilities as determined by Clinic Director and Practice Manager. FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: PAP remote data monitoring program Implementation of home sleep apnea testing program Cost savings for institution from labor transferred from other employees with less expertise to one more efficient and experienced at these tasks.Monitor PAP compliance data allowing physicians more time with clinic visits Reduce need for additional personnel by freeing admin staff to accomplish checkin/out, vital signs and scheduling tasks. QUALIFICATIONS: Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist. BLS. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: 2+ years experience in respiratory care. Sleep focus and experience preferred.
