Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a ProductionSupervisor at our Monroe Township NJ facility tomanage daily production, quality, and safety ensuring that required metrics are met.This position is responsible forleading the production team, auditing quality and productivity,and utilizing leadership skillsto promote communication and innovation.

Your Shift: 10:00pm- 8:30am, Monday - Thursday

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily activities of production staff - establish and promote a team-based environment

  • Promote andupholdall company safety policies and procedures

  • Ensure that the shift productivityand OEE goals are met

  • Maintain quality and service by promoting and enforcingorganizations standards and procedures

  • Coordinate with scheduling, front office and production leadership to evaluate capacity and proactively allocate resources throughout the shift

  • Recommend measurementsto improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality

  • Maintain and monitortraining progress of new operators and entry level employees

  • Conduct reviewswith team members related to performance goals, quality, preventative maintenance and safety

  • OverseeanddirectContinuous Improvement Projects and report monthly on their progress

You Must Have:

  • Exceptional communication skills to express team improvement, process change, both plant and individual goals, and good employee relations

  • Technical skills to troubleshoot equipment issues and makeappropriate decisions

  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility to monitor workflow and adjust resources in order to meet daily output goals and customer needs

Requirements within this position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.

  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.

  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.

  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.

  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:

  • 1+ years experience in the Printing Industry

  • Leadership experience and training

  • Continuous Improvement/ean Manufacturing experience

  • Experience with environmental and safety regulationsincluding OSHA, EPA, and HAZMAT
