Job Summary

The Sales Operations Performance Specialist is a crucial role within our sales organization, responsible for supporting strategic initiatives, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring operational efficiency. This position will work closely with sales leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to assist in the development and execution of strategies that maximize sales performance and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of sales channel strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Research and analyze current sales operations, engagement strategies, and commission structures.
  • Attend meetings and engage with team members to gain a deep understanding of existing systems and processes.
  • Develop data collection processes to support sales targets and quota setting.
  • Support day-to-day sales operations, including pipeline and sales attainment performance.
  • Utilize and maintain sales tools and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely sales data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and develop solutions to streamline operations.
  • Determine best practices and standards to optimize sales workflows.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales performance.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders. marketing, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Work closely with product management to understand product offerings and incorporate them into sales strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.

  • Experience in Telecom sales operations, performance metrics, and understanding key drivers of success.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, CRM & billing systems, analytic tools (Tableau/PowerBI) and Microsoft Excel (Pivots/Lookups/Power Query/Modeling)

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00-$105,570.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
