Job Title: Front Desk Administrative Aide FLSA Status: Part Time - non-exempt (25hours/week) Supervises: N/A Rate of Pay: $19/Hour Closing Date: 1/15/2025 Benefits: Standard; Part-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:
Position Summary: The Front Desk Administrative Aide is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the safety of both members and employees throughout the center. It is the face of the Denver Red Shield and is responsible for providing a warm, welcoming environment which includes providing exceptional customer service experiences. This position also includes using their free time to support the Business Administrator with clerical tasks. Responsibilities include verifying memberships through the POS (Point-of-Sale) system, using a computer and varying software to complete assigned tasks, diffusing stressful situations, providing information and answering questions and communicating with members in an authoritative and compassionate manner. Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and Ability to remain in a stationary position, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate telephone. Capable of frequently lifting 20 pounds. Ability to access and produce information from a computer. Ability to understand written information. Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
