The responsibility of the Repair District Manager is to manage their respective assigned district shops

Duty or Responsibility



Manage productivity, profitability, personnel and operations of assigned repair shops.



Be able to communicate with executive team and other sales leaders.



Host weekly call with assigned shop managers, create weekly report and communicate to executive team.



Regularly visit assigned repair shops when appropriate and be able to travel for meetings.



Work in customer owned instruments as well as rental fleet in an efficient & timely manner. Ensuring each instrument is repaired according to established quality guidelines.



Other duties as assigned, such as assisting at repair clinics, public events, or school events.

Minimum Experience/Knowledge/Skills




  • 12 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)
  • 5 years of experience leading teams
  • Other must haves?
  • Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to perform basic repairs for brass, woodwind, and orchestral instruments

      • The ability to take advice and supervision from the regional repair manager and executive team
      • Strong communication skills
      • Basic computer literacy
      • Problem solving as related to discovering what is wrong and create diplomatic solutions
      • Be self-motivated
      • Must be able to work with others in a close environment
      • Ensure legibility, completeness and consistency of required paperwork.
      • The shop environment can be somewhat noisy at times due to machines that are used to repair items and test playing of instruments.
      • Much time is spent standing, some sitting on a stool at times, and some walking. Floors are generally cement or concrete, so standing can result in foot fatigue.
      • Usually there are several people working in close proximity to each other.
      • Lifting, pushing and pulling of instruments and cases up to 75 pounds
      • Some use of chemicals in the shops, so there can be mild smells in the room
      • Ability to travel required for extended periods







Degree/Certificate/License.



  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Business Management or Supply Chain..
  • Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance.

Pay Rate:$80,000 - $90,000/yr depending on background and experience.

This position is eligible to participate in the Music & Arts Company bonus program based on Company performance.
