Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Group Manager - Program Management for our Connected Mobility Solutions Business Unit (CMSBU) - Networking Segment. As the Group Manager you will oversee and coordinate the planning, execution, and evaluation of multiple programs within the Networking Segment of CMSBU. This role will include leading a team of 2 to 5 Program Managers in our Rochester Hills, MI design center, supporting quoting activities, and directly managing projects as business needs require.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive program management experience, and a passion for developing people, processes, tools, and driving results.

What You Will Do
* Leadership & Supervision: Develop a team of highly skilled and empowered leaders who fully own and are accountable for delivering projects on-time, within budget, and that meet our customer's requirements.
* Program Oversight and Execution: Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals including following the Product Development Process (PDP)
* Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively project and portfolio status with stakeholders at all levels, maintaining strong relationships to ensure program success and alignment with strategic objectives.
* Resource Management: Utilize comparative advantage to allocate resources efficiently and effectively, balancing competing demands and priorities across multiple projects.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to manage and minimize impact on project delivery.
* Performance Monitoring: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to track program progress and success, implementing improvements where necessary.
* Financial Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and delivering value within financial constraints.
* Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and outcomes.

Who You Are
* Bachelor's degree in a business or engineering discipline
* 10 years of experience developing automotive products
* 7 years of experience as a program/project manager leading automotive launches including managing multiple technical projects simultaneously and meeting the approved financials, quality, and timing targets.
* Successful utilization of project management methodologies.
* Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* The willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 20% to locations such as Mexico, China, Philippines, and Japan.
* Ability to work in the United States without needing a work visa

What Puts You Ahead
* PMP or PgMP Certifications
* MBA or a Master's Degree in Program Management or a Technical discipline
* Experience in the development and launch of automotive wire harnesses or high-speed data cable/component development (COAX/HFM, HSAL)
* 3 years of experience supervising Program or Project Managers. We will consider time spent supervising other technical disciplines

* Working knowledge of problem-solving processes including experience using problem solving tools such as 8D, 5-phase, 5-whys, Is/Is not, or Ishikawa diagrams
* Strong application of risk identification and risk management methodologies
* The willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 20% and establish strong working relationships with our international customers, partners, and suppliers.
