This laboratory is seeking a part-time Health Sciences Research Tech to assist in a range of research activities in studies of cell stress response. The Research Tech will provide routine technical assistance in the preparation for and performance of health sciences laboratory and/or field research under direct supervision and instruction from the PI. They will perform standard research protocol, under detailed and controlled research parameters in a health sciences laboratory, clinical and/or field research setting. The research tech will also conduct a variety of standardized tests and procedures; prepare data and samples; set up and operate standard laboratory or field-testing equipment. They will verify and record data and perform preliminary manipulation of experiment and/or test results. The tech will provide basic data analysis, summaries and interpretations. Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress. Preferred Qualifications
