Overview:
Belcan, a leader in engineering services, is seeking skilled Quality Inspectors and Technicians to support our customer"s inspection and quality engineering needs. These roles are critical for increasing inspection throughput on complex aerospace parts while maintaining compliance with AS9100 quality systems. We are hiring for multiple levels to support inspection, quality, MRB, and CMM operation & programming tasks.

Job Summary:
Provide quality support for a series of complex aerospace parts requiring additional inspection capacity. Responsibilities include performing thorough part inspections, facilitating MRB processes, and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions. Additional tasks may include CMM operation, programming, and quality engineering support.

Key Responsibilities:

Parts Inspection:
oConduct inspections using basic bench and GD&T measurement techniques.
oUtilize tools and gauges (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, flush pin gauges, indicators, etc.).
oPerform layout inspections and visually inspect part products for workmanship, including checking for burrs, edge breaks, and handling damage.
oValidate all inspection processes against engineering drawings and procedures, capturing variations and ensuring compliance.

Quality Notifications and MRB Support:
oFacilitate quality notifications and client concessions within applicable MRB/QMS systems.
oDocument non-conformances as major or minor findings, collaborating with operations to resolve issues.
oCommunicate deviations and support engineers with RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) opportunities.
*AS9100 Compliance and Quality Systems:
oValidate evidence of test data and NADCAP-compliant processes.
oExecute tasks technically within AS9100 quality and measurement systems.
oDrive process/product non-conformity root cause analysis and corrective actions with the customer"s quality and
manufacturing teams.

CMM Operation and Programming:
oOperate CMMs utilizing OpenDMIS or Renishaw MODUS software.
oPerform part setups per documented inspection plans.
oProvide CMM programming support as needed to optimize inspection throughput.

Qualifications:
*Previous experience in Aerospace Parts Inspection, CMM Operation or Programming, or Quality Engineering roles.
*Proficiency in mechanical measurements and interpreting GD&T requirements.
*Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
*Experience with MRB and RCCA processes desired for engineering level roles.
*CMM operation or programming experience in OpenDMIS or Renishaw MODUS software.
*U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder required due to project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Training & Certifications, Associate, or Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
*Six Sigma certification or equivalent quality training.
*Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes.
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $32.00 - $42.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
