Dispatchers provide outstanding customer service and support to Astounds internal work groups and customers. Facilitate effective communication between field and office to expedite customer work order handling. Generate, process, and track system work orders. Ensure high quality and accurate service by assisting and resolving a wide variety of internal customer requests, inquiries and complaints.

Where you will work:

This position will be based in Astounds Crestwood, IL office, and would be an in office/field role.

A Day in the Life of the Broadband Dispatcher:



  • Monitor and assist with management of customer technician routes
  • Maintain ongoing communication with technicians
  • Complete pre-calls to customers
  • Conduct post-installation surveys
  • Verify integrity of ICOMS accounts against work orders
  • Execution of significant project to support the internal and external customer base
  • Other duties as assigned



What You Bring to the Table:



  • Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience required, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The skills listed are required to be executed at an intermediate level.

Education and Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Base Salary: The base salary range in Illinois for this position is $18.00 -$19.00 per hour, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Illinois and may not be applicable to other locations.
