Job Overview

The Engineering Administrator works within the Engineering department to assist with creating and revising production order details, facilitating the procurement of goods and maintaining relationships and documentation with outside vendors. This position will reside at the Littleton Burndy NH facility and support both the Littleton and Lincoln NH Burndy facilities. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager of the Littleton facility.

A Day In The Life

  • Working with outside vendors to facilitate the purchase of goods and equipment as specified by the engineering department
  • Managing vendor account information (COIs, points of contact, payment terms, etc.).
  • Working with engineering to analyze, create and revise bill of material (BOM) and routings for product production
  • Facilitate the creation, tracking and receipt of purchase orders to ensure timely ordering and delivery of purchased goods
  • Maintain proper tracking documentation related to various engineering projects (BOM and route revision/creation trackers, capital expenditure statuses, etc.)

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • 2-5 years of experiencein a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Prior experience with data entry, database management, reporting, and compliance analysis desired
  • Proficient with SAP production software
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
