Job Overview
Work in conjunction with the Environmental Health & Safety Manager to assist in the development and implementation of plans and policies to prevent employee injuries and environmental defects while ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. Work cross functionally with all aspects and levels of the Hubbell organization to drive EHS standards and best practices. A Day In The Life

Work Related Skills: Reliable, detail oriented, compliance-minded, and strong interpersonal and presentation skills are necessary to perform effectively in this position. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in the Environmental Health and Safety field and four years of experience in manufacturing. Education: High School Diploma/GED and Associate degree or equivalent education credentials in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, relevant technical or engineering discipline, or two additional years of manufacturing experience. Computer Skills: Position requires basic proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Physical Requirements: Most work is performed in a manufacturing environment. Frequent heavy lifting up to 35lbs, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
