Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of B2B Product Development, the Manager, B2B Managed Services will define, develop, evolve, and deliver a common, cross-product Managed Service guidelines that will be implemented by product owners across the B2B portfolio. The Manager will also be responsible for defining cross-product requirements for the B2B Portal experience, as well. The Manager is responsible for providing oversight to a high performing team of product development resources focused on delivering both relevant and leading-edge managed experiences, as well as, the integrated digital experience across the whole B2B portfolio. As a member of the Product Development leadership team, the Manager will partner closely with internal Engineering and Software development teams, will partner with and manage external vendor relationships and coordinate with internal operational groups to ensure optimal customer experiences across the B2B portfolio of products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine the B2B Managed Services - managed services guidelines, aligning it with the company's overall strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering development resources to define and implement innovative solutions for the B2B cross product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to define and refine performance and availability notifications and details to be presented on a common dashboard. Includes proactive notifications, trouble generation, alerts or alarms, associated with specific Product SLAs or performance commitments and notifications.
  • Define the managed services vision, goals, and KPIs to guide product development efforts.
  • Lead a matrix organization of high-performing teammates, that partners with business-oriented product partners, as well as cross functional technical resources, including product managers, engineers, designers, SW developers and other relevant roles.
  • Partner closely with Product domain leaders to refine and enhance the Managed Services guidelines and to ensure it is properly implemented in a consistent manner across all product domains.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to gather input and ensure product-market fit.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on market demand and customer feedback.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, including product launch, and going refinement and maintenance.
  • Continuously monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, making data-driven decisions for improvements.
  • Ensure that product development activities align with revenue and profitability targets.
  • Conduct trials based on customer requirements and develop products in collaboration with the entire technology organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; MA or MBA preferred.
  • Five to seven years' experience in managing or delivering comprehensive managed and/or professional services within the Telecommunication company.
  • Broad, but not detailed knowledge of the telecommunications, its products and services relevant and essential to the B2B environment desired.
  • Proven experience in UX/DX definition, development and its service impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with UI/UX development teams in the execution of an E2E product vision. The Seamless ability to partnering with these development teams is essential.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Proven experience with technical product management, product development and operational tools and process.
  • P&L knowledge with a strong track record of growth and accomplishments/achievements
  • Proven ability to collaborate across organizations.
  • Analytical thinker who uses data to drive decisions and balances both short and long term needs of customers.
  • Robust understanding of consumer behavior and experience using different channels to engage

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $123,379.00-$202,694.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
