Responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and inspiration to a team of software engineers, offering guidance, support, and constructive feedback to nurture their professional growth and drive their development

  • Lead the successful execution of multiple complex engineering projects across diverse teams. Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software that aligns with customer needs and business objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with product management, and other engineering teams to ensure technical initiatives are aligned with business goals and customer requirements.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and informed risk-taking.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technology trends, continuously explore and adopt new tools and methodologies, and actively participate in both internal and external technology communities to foster innovation and knowledge sharing.

  • Demonstrate and promote INDG Values by modeling them in actions and encourage the team to embody them.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing scalable, Enterprise web application using a broad spectrum of programming languages, including C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript.

  • Proven track record in software engineering practices and the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, architectural design patterns, code reviews, version control, build processes, testing methodologies, and operational best practices.

  • Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud-based applications leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.

  • Familiarity with modern UI development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) and web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, JS, CSS).

  • Passionate about continuous improvement and well versed with Scrum practices, Lean Agile, test-driven development, extreme programming, and ensuring robust execution.

  • Extensive experience in software engineering leadership roles with a strong track record of delivering end-to-end experiences and reliable services.

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

  • Strong understanding of security best practices in software development.

  • Solid understanding of legacy code transformation and modernization projects.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, software engineering, technical writing or equivalent experience. Minimum 8+ years of systems-related experience, including at least 4+ years system analysis and 2+ years' experience with online and database applications is required.
