This Management Analyst position supports the budgetary and financial needs of staff in two different departments, Parks & Recreation and Neighborhood & Human Services, as a part of the Business Services Division, a supportive and experienced team. The main responsibilities of this position will be to coordinate budgetary activities, supporting internal customers by analyzing operational and fiscal activities and formulating long term models to fulfill financial expectations and performance metrics. This position is integral to the financial success of the two departments and must constantly act in that way, offering suggestions and ideas for often complex requests, and achieving requested outcomes. Working in concert with another Management Analyst position and divisional staff, on an annual basis, this position will support the submission of the fiscal year budget package for these departments. The successful applicant will possess budget analysis experience, excellent interpersonal skills, a drive for continual improvement and a desire to learn and adapt. They must be analytical in nature, extremely accurate and detail oriented, while maintaining the flexibility to handle competing deadlines and ever-changing requests. This position, when successful, prioritizes customer satisfaction by actively listening to their needs (which often vary by division), resolving issues promptly and providing clear, concise information. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of three years related experience. Requires a working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
