The Histology Research Associate (HRA) will conduct histological procedures in accordance with laboratory requirements. Duties include tissue accessioning, processing, embedding, sectioning (FFPE & Frozen) and staining on a daily basis. The incumbent will help maintain laboratory inventory and equipment daily checks, and will report any equipment malfunction to laboratory manager. The incumbent will follow standard operating procedure and will maintains laboratory environmental health and safety activities, including chemical and biological waste disposal. The incumbent will coordinate all activities related to clinical research including serving as the principal administrative liaison for the project and ensuring communication with Biorepository staff. In addition, the incumbent will assist with billing on a monthly basis. Other duties assigned as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $60,301 - $97,008 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $28.88 - $46.46 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
