OverviewMicrosoft AI is dedicated to advancing Copilot and other consumer AI products and research. The team is responsible for Copilot, Bing, Edge, and generative AI research. Technical Program Manager leads the development and implementation process for products and services typically involving large, complex cross-functional implementation with multiple internal teams or external partners. Leads efforts such as designing product architecture and solutions to complex technical needs, identifying trends in product quality and performance to define or change existing features; prioritizing and delivering on the roadmap; managing project schedules and release plans; monitoring product/service performance and driving continuous improvement in quality, profitability, supportability and delivery. Acts as technical advisor with customers to evangelize products, solicit feedback, and support field sellers where needed. Designs and drives programs and/or product changes that address customer needs and business priorities. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Engineering and Business Owners:Define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope, including defining the roadmap and long-term strategy. Manage Cross-Functional Dependencies:Effectively manage risks and changes by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly. Drive Technical Analysis and Development:Partner with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases. Develop Communication Plans:Own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Define and Track Key Metrics:Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators, driving cross-functional execution of program deliverables.
