Overview The HR Communications and Policy Specialist supports LifeLong Medical Care's mission by developing and managing HR policies, procedures, and internal communications to support the standardization of HR practices and ensure the success of HR initiatives. This role will be responsible for drafting and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department, overseeing HR policy and procedure documentation, and providing clear and timely communication across multiple audiences about key HR processes, changes, and updates. Additionally, this role may be called upon to support with the project management of key initiatives. Reporting to the HR Director, this specialist will play a vital role in supporting HR projects and initiatives that align with LifeLong's operational goals and values, helping all employees to understand the rationale behind and importance of the HR team's practices and requests. This is a full time, exempt, benefit eligible position in Berkeley, CA. LifeLong Medical Care is a multi-site, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a rich history of providing innovative healthcare and social services to a wonderfully diverse patient community. Our patient-centered health home is a dynamic place to work, practice, and grow. We have over 15 primary care health centers and deliver integrated services including psychosocial, referrals, chronic disease management, dental, health education, home visits, and much, much more. Benefits Compensation: $75,000 - 90,000/year. We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision (including dependent and domestic partner coverage), generous leave benefits including nine paid holidays, Flexible Spending Accounts, 403(b) retirement savings plan.
