About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to support and collaborate with our National Account Managers and Key Account Managers in managing customer relationships and working with central teams across key channels and categories. This role will involve assisting in contract negotiations, securing signoffs, and contributing to the development of impactful sales plans.

You'll play a crucial part in executing sales strategies, including setting targets, driving programs, and supporting commercial initiatives and promotional policies for your assigned channels.

Main Responsibilities:

You will support the proposal and tracking of sales volume budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and managing trade/promotion budgets. This includes monitoring performance, controlling assigned costs, and ensuring adherence to spending guidelines.

You will assist in implementing Trade Marketing plans, focusing on pricing, promotions, and display activities. You'll monitor category performance, identify gaps and growth opportunities, and propose solutions such as new initiatives, pricing adjustments, and stock/service level improvements.

You will help define and support sales targets, profit margins, timing, pricing, and promotional events across different channels and customers. Additionally, you will drive project and partnership initiatives with clients to ensure commercial success.

In collaboration with the team, you will assist with contract negotiations and closures, including direct involvement in key situations like contract signings and conflict resolution.

You will provide management with regular updates on sales activities and plans, maintaining close contact with key stakeholders across channels, customers, and markets to gather valuable insights and improve strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will assist in creating and preparing weekly briefs for field meetings, ensuring all relevant sales and marketing information is effectively communicated to the field teams.

You will oversee the maintenance of customer and product master data in the Information Systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency. This includes managing customer structures, updating product details, and overseeing pricing adjustments to ensure the timely communication of sales data across teams.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a candidate with strong commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively both internally and externally. You will need excellent verbal and numeric reasoning skills to make data-driven decisions and communicate them clearly. A key part of the role is building relationships, so an engaging and credible personality is essential, along with a strong awareness of how to influence stakeholders at all levels.

You should be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other technical platforms, including social media, to manage communications and presentations effectively. Ideally, you will also have cultural awareness, an interest in international development, and FMCG experience, which will be valuable in understanding the broader business context.
