This opportunity is in the Finance Department.

Role Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will play an essential role in monitoring and processing premium billing and managing accounts receivable collections across various lines of business. Collaborating with insurance brokers, underwriters, and internal teams, you will ensure accurate financial processes and maintain high standards of service. Your contributions will directly support the financial integrity and operational efficiency of Safety National.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:



  • Manage accounts receivable collections and communicate effectively with insurance brokers.
  • Process and reconcile premium invoice batches from underwriting billing systems.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to resolve account inquiries and monitor credit balances.
  • Prepare files and documents for monthly accounts receivable meetings.
  • Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
  • Enter write-offs, refunds, and accounts receivable maintenance worksheets as needed.
  • Maintain and document procedures for accounts receivable operations.
  • Support system testing and provide requested information to auditors.
  • Perform monthly billing and accounts receivable closures using PeopleSoft software.


What Makes You the Ideal Candidate:



  • Minimum of 1 years of Accounts Receivable or related experience.
  • A Bachelors degree in Accounting (preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and business applications; Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to resolving accounting issues and adhering to procedures.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
