Job Summary
The College of Engineering's Oce of Recruiting, K-12 Outreach & Scholarships is seeking candidates for the position of Outreach Program Administrator.

This position is responsible for supporting the college's K-12 outreach efforts. In collaborating with the Outreach Programs Manager, this position is responsible for exposing K-12 students to the field of engineering through hands-on and interactive engineering demonstrations and programs. These programs are designed to empower and encourage students to develop the necessary skills and confidence to pursue a career in engineering. Through K- 12 outreach, this person aids the Outreach Programs Manager in creating a pipeline of future Auburn engineers.
Essential Functions
Collaborates with the Outreach Programs Manager and Director in the creation and implementation of the K- I 2 outreach marketing plan and marketing materials for teachers, students, parents, counselors, and other stakeholders.

Assists in planning and coordinating all activities for college-sponsored outreach programs.

Supports on-campus and off-campus outreach programs for targeted student populations including E-Day, Future City, The Drop, SHEroes, Summer Camp Programs, GRAND, virtual field trips, in-person field trips, and others.

Manages local elementary and middle school travel calendar. Working in conjunction with the Outreach Programs Manager to create a local visit program.
Collaborates and supports stakeholders (offices across campus, staff, faculty, organizations, teachers, and students) as it relates to engineering outreach efforts.

Supports training for faculty, staff: and students as it relates to student outreach, event training, and hosting minors on campus policies. Works closely with the recruitment team to ensure an effective outreach, and recruitment pipeline. Works closely with college student staff to ensure students attend programs and exemplify superb customer service when meeting stakeholders. Provides administrative support for all things as it relates to the college's outreach programs.

Assists with the maintenance of the volunteer and student/teacher outreach database.
Minimum Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications
Level I: Bachelor's degree from an accredit university and zero years experience

Level II: Bachelor's degree from an accredit university and two years experience in the design, implementation, delivery, and management of educational programs/services.

Level III: Bachelor's degree from an accredit university and four years experience in the design, implementation, delivery, and management of educational programs/services.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work with different groups including faculty, students, and staff

Ability to assume responsibility, take initiative, and work independently or in teams

Ability to work with a diverse population of students in routine and complex situations, and to make timely decisions that are in the student's best interest

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, deal with all aspects of a department's academic programs, and produce results.

Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data.

Skills in preparing direct mail solicitations.

Program planning and implementation skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.
