How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Project Engineer is responsible for on-schedule and on-cost delivery of projects in execution including interfacing with the customer and internal company wide stakeholders

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure on-schedule and on-cost delivery of projects while managing project activities during all phases such as Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Production and Final inspection and delivery.

  • Conduct design review meetings with the internal and external stakeholders

  • Actively communicate with customers to fulfill all technical and contractual requirements.

  • Actively coordinate and mitigate delays and/or cost overruns across the assigned portfolio.

  • Defines project schedules identifying critical activities and work closely across functions to support project reporting requirements (Schedule, Cost, Contracts, NCRs)

  • Review and coordinate engineering drawing and BOM release.

Are you a MATCH?
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required)

  • 2-5 years of project management/engineering experience in design-build project environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, the ability to relate to technical requirements of customers, listen effectively, persuade and influence decision-makers and solicit input from others.

  • Ability to quickly build long-term connections with internal and external clients

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings such as P&IDs, GA (General Arrangement) and electrical schematics.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience in the Turbo Machinery business

  • Experience in the executing projects in Korea, Russia, Europe, Canada which require certifications such as KOSHA, KCS, GOST, CE/PED

Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $95,000 - $115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
