As a Product Engineer, you will leverage your Linux system administration expertise to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise software on Linux. Join us to help build the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise!

Responsibilities



  • Support and gather requirements from customers, evaluating and planning new features for future releases
  • Collaborate with developers and other product engineers on software projects for ArcGIS Enterprise customers
  • Define and develop methods to enhance product quality
  • Test ArcGIS Enterprise workflows on Linux using a strong understanding of how the software is designed and how customers use the software
  • Develop and implement test plans and test cases, write test code, and verify code changes and bug fixes
  • Design the user experience so that customers will be successful using the software in Linux
  • Communicate how customers can be successful with ArcGIS Enterprise on Linux through documentation, videos, and presentations
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in the enterprise software space in areas like containerization, cloud, and automation


Requirements



  • 2+ years of experience working in enterprise IT technology (examples: web servers, containers, automation)
  • Experience with system administration and shell scripting skills in Linux
  • Experience with automated test frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or Ready API
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Bachelor's in computer information systems, computer science, engineering, or other technical fields


Recommended Qualifications



  • Experience development and implementing test plans and test automation
  • Knowledge of automation technology such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet
  • Knowledge of container and orchestration technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of cloud technology such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud platform

$74,984 $128,544 USD
