Position Summary

*The Nursing Unit Secretary II role performs clerical, receptionist, and transporter duties. This role has the responsibility for advanced unit involvement in projects and house-wide activities. Strong candidates for this position will possess excellent customer service skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to communicate with team members, as well as patients and their families effectively.

Schedule consists of 3 (12) hour shifts, but flexible to 5 (8) hour shifts. Must be flexible to weekends.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.

2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.

    3. Experience: One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.
