Career growth and development Diverse and collaborative working environment Affordable and comprehensive benefits package Position Summary - Full Time Float This is a full-time float position on the inpatient pediatric medical units. The social worker in this position partners with a variety of medical teams providing care of infants, children, and adolescents. The role includes completing psychosocial assessments, family and team meetings, care coordination, collaboration with and referrals for community resources. Social workers are key members of the interdisciplinary team. Education: MSW degree from an accredited school of social work Licensure: - Must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners at the LMSW level. - Exceptions: * Is licensed to practice social work in another state or possesses social work qualifications in another jurisdiction comparable and * Meets requirement established by the Board in regulations and * Has an application for a license pending before the Board or * Has successfully passed an examination or examinations prescribed by the Board pertinent to the license sought. Salary Range: Minimum 33.61 per hour - Maximum 55.51 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
