Summary:
In conjunction with the Group Vice President and Corporate, establishes business objectives for the site and provides direction to the attainment of those objectives in business, customers, employees and the community while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities:
* Completes long-range planning in support of corporate goals and objectives.
* Manages site in a manner that reduces operating cost, increases revenue and exceeds customer expectation.
* Pursues new customer and business expansions opportunities.
* Responsible for employee discipline and morale.
* Supports corporate and senior staff in establishing policies and procedures and ensure implementation at the site.
* Provides quarterly business and capital investment forecasts.
* Leads management and support staff in a collaborative environment to continuously improve site performance in velocity, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
* Supports Benchmark initiatives through site active participation in projects, education and training programs, and resource sharing as needed.
* Reviews pricing and cost of current and prospective customers to identify opportunity and reducing overall cost.
* Provides leadership and direction in the site's Lean Sigma program to corporate goals and objectives to increase value stream transformation.
* Supports human development programs for site team members.
* Typically performs job role and responsibilities at a site of <500 employees
* Typically manages <$150M USD annual revenue.
* Uses professional concepts, systems and tools.
* Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
* Operates effectively in daily business activities
* Works closely with the Group VP and Corporate to established site goals and objectives.
* Ability to dive-deep into functional responsibilities and performance using site metrics to identify and resolve challenges.
* Ability to multi-task and manage site's improvements with hands-on time and knowledge through coaching and mentoring of functional team members.
* Works closely with site Lean Champion and Controllers to estimate, track and validate financial benefits of Lean Sigma projects and activities.
* Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
* Complies and follow all company security policies and procedures.
* Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

* >5 years' experience in contract manufacturing
* Extensive experience in working directly with customers and developing customer relationships.
* Experience in managing cross-functional teams and personnel.
* Experience in team dynamics and human development.

* Proficient and knowledgeable in all areas of manufacturing operation.
* Ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
* Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or University. Master's Degree preferred.

* Six Sigma Black Belt certification by a recognized and/or accredited organization (e.g., Shingo Prize, SME, ASQ, ASU, Villanova U, etc.).
